    Topic:
Introduction to Game Development with Unity

Amanda Lange, Technical Evangelist from the Philly region, one of the most popular and versatile game development tools. Create your own games that work on almost any platform. We’ll look at the environment setup to create a game world, how to add your own artwork to a game, how to create game physics, and where to find game creation resources.

    About the speaker:

I’m a Technical Evangelist for Microsoft in the Philadelpha/Baltimore area. I’m also a staff writer at http://www.tap-repeatedly.com. I’m a video game developer, artist, and critic who also does research about games. My passion is connecting more people to game development and putting more games in the world. I also like to play anything I can. In my dwindling spare time, I run D&D campaigns and bake pies.

    I tweet at @Second_truth.

  4. May Nerd Dinner

    May 01, 2014

May Nerd Dinner: 5/1/14 at 7 pm

Join us for one of our regular Nerd Dinners. These are events are simply social and have no planned agenda. We typically meet at the Mall at Millenia food court at the base of the ramp that leads to the center lounge area. Grab some food from one of the many vendors in the food court area and enjoy some good conversation and networking.

Naturally there will be .NET developers there but we welcome developers and IT professionals from all disciplines. The more diversity, the better the conversation. :-)
